Anniversary of the Death of a Musician

On January 4, 2011 Composer Ara Sevanian passed away leaving behind a legacy of nine symphonies, numerous pieces of chamber music and songs, and a memoir titled Kanon, the Life of Composer Ara Sevanian.  This post honors a contemporary classical composer whose history resides at the University of  California, Los Angeles Schoenberg Library, and whose music can be viewed at the University of Southern California Library.
