Studio Portrait of Kanonist Ara Sevanian

These news notes and photos speak for themselves of a man who spent a lifetime delighting audiences world wide. His works have been played in Paris, New York, Boston, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. He has shared the stage with Aram Khachaturian, been conducted by Vaktang Jordania and his music sung by Armen Tokatian. Good friends like Loris Tjeknavorian encouraged him to compose a conccerto for kanon and orchestra. May Sevanian's works, now kept at the USC Library, find a place in the hearts of musicians and audience alike.
